Removing the skin of a ray 

The ray is a cartilage- fish is caught  in the Mediterranean sea, North sea, to the top of Norway and Iceland. This fish lives on a swallow-rocky floor. One of the most dangerous rays is the sting-ray. He has a putting up toxic thorn in the middle on his tail, when you are gets this you can have nasty paralysis phenomena.

In this example we use a big ray. Removing the skin from a ray is a rather cumbersome job, smaller species are much easily.

 

Remove the skin


1. Take of the skin when the fish is completely yet: Make a incision into the skin, take the skin with a pincer and take it of.
